A Chrome extension

SupplierSearch is a simple Chrome extension (available soon in the Chrome Web Store) that is intended to help users dealing with component distributor part numbers.  To use, simply copy a distributor part number in any application and click the SupplierSearch icon on the Chrome toolbar.  SupplierSearch will try to automatically detect which distributor the part number is from, and will open a new tab taking you straight to that product page.  This eliminates a couple of extra steps in navigating to the distributor’s website and searching with their part number.

Currently supported distributors are:

• Digi-Key
• Newark
• Mouser
• Allied Electronics
